Outreach
Each year a selection of artists from the Festival line-up offers the opportunity to school students to attend some kind of event during the school day. The form these events take can vary, from attending a rehearsal, lecture demonstration or specially devised version of a play, to hands-on workshops and masterclasses. To ensure that all schools are given equal opportunity to attend the events suitable for their students, Outreach Packages are hand-delivered to all schools on the same day. Seats to events are allocated as the orders are received and it is rare for a school to be disappointed. Literally thousands of students have already benefited from this programme and we are confident that it helps to foster an interest in, and appreciation of, the arts. Come see Festival Impressions - the first exhibition of its kind organized by The Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts. Joining together the visual and performing arts, it showcases some of the artistic influence and impact the annual Festival has had in our Bermuda community.
