Always a popular discipline, there is no doubt that tickets for the stand up event will be hot items. Appearing twice-nightly in Daylesford’s intimate theatre, the comedians will perform a range of observational and political stand up. This show is not for children or people who find the use of colourful language, themes of a sexual nature or bitter partisanship offensive.
JONATHAN YOUNG
A veteran of the British Stand Up circuit, Bermuda’s Jonathan Young made a name for himself in the local comedy scene winning the Best Newcomer award at Just For Laughs at the Fairmont Southampton a year ago.
JOHN OLIVER
John Oliver, a long-time friend of Jonathan, known to most for his role as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, found the opportunity to take a short break from US politics irresistible and will wing his way to Bermuda to join Jonathan to headline the stand up show. John’s most recent performance was his Comedy Central special, Terrifying Times.
