Richard Stoltzman’s virtuosity, musicianship and personal magnetism have catapulted him to the highest ranks of international acclaim. He is no stranger to Bermuda having performed at the Festival in previous years and we are thrilled to
be able to include him in the 2008 line up. Well known as a classical musician, on this occasion, Richard Stoltzman demonstrates his expertise as a jazz clarinetist, with his son Peter, “…a monster jazz piano player” Los Angeles Times, at his side. Father and Son have delighted audiences around the world with their innovation and versatility and City Hall will be set alight with their stirring sound.

MONDAY 28TH JANUARY
The programme will include works by Bernstein, Porter,
Copland and Brubeck.

FRIDAY 1ST FEBRUARY
The programme will feature pieces by Ellington, Carter, Bach, Stravinsky, Messiaen and Gershwin.
