Wednesday 23rd January 2008
8.00PM CITY HALL THEATRE

Hailing from Venice, the nine musicians of Interpreti Veneziani, each one a virtuoso, will play primarily Baroque music on original instruments. Making its debut in 1987 this string ensemble immediately gained a reputation for “youthful
exuberance and all-Italian brio”, and this has remained the musicians’ hallmark as they have demonstrated their talent around the world ever since.

Much of their time is spent performing in their home city, with an annual season at San Vidal Church, in Venice, where Vivaldi used to play and where his spirit still prevails.

In two different programmes these master musicians, exuding verve and enthusiasm, will transport us to the romanticism of Italy by recreating the Venetian atmosphere right here in Bermuda.

TUESDAY 22ND JANUARY
