The Bermuda Festival is proud to present the charismatic guitarist Eliot Fisk, the last direct pupil of the legendary Andrés Segovia, who described him as “one of the most brilliant, intelligent and gifted young musical artists of our time, not only among guitarists but instrumentalists generally.”

More than twenty years later he is renowned as an imaginative virtuoso and a born risk-taker, and has brought an entirely new dimension to classical guitar. He will perform two different programmes: the first all Latin American music, in which he will be joined by his wife, guitarist Zaira Meneses; the second a solo classical concert which will include some of his own transcriptions.

These concerts are guaranteed to delight all, from the uninitiated to committed fans of the instrument. This is an opportunity not to be missed.

FRIDAY 18TH JANUARY
A Latin American programme including works from Cuba, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil and beyond.

SATURDAY 19TH JANUARY
A solo concert featuring works by Scarlatti, Bach, de la Maza, Paganini, Albéniz and more. Programmes subject to change
