Saturday 2nd February 2008 8.00PM CITY HALL THEATRE The remarkable talent of Benjamin Grosvenor was first revealed to the world in 2004, when at the age of 11years, he was the outstanding winner of the keyboard section of the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition. Giving one hundred per cent commitment to his art, the young Grosvenor once cited as his motivation, that a standing ovation “made me feel good”. Still only in his mid-teens, he has already appeared as soloist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the Royal Albert Hall, the New York Youth Symphony at Carnegie Hall and the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra in Rio de Janeiro. The Bermuda Festival is delighted to be able to present this young man to local audiences at the beginning of what promises to be a stellar career.
